Virginia resident, Karen R. Weaver, a former preschool teacher and Assistant Director of a children’s center, has been inspired by her brother's devotion to God as a priest and her interest in teaching children. Illustrator Pat Clark also of Virginia has always been sketching and creating whimsical characters on paper. Friends for years
Virginia resident, Karen R. Weaver, a former preschool teacher and Assistant Director of a children’s center, has been inspired by her brother's devotion to God as a priest and her interest in teaching children. Illustrator Pat Clark also of Virginia has always been sketching and creating whimsical characters on paper. Friends for years, Karen and Pat decided to collaborate on children's books based on the fruit of the Spirit as stated in Galatians 5:22-23.
Sherlock the Sheep and Lily the Llama
Kristen, Karen's granddaughter, loves to create and dabble with various forms of art. She created Sherlock and Lily to match the whimsical nature of the books so Francis could continue teaching others about fiber.

In the shop, Lily and Sherlock are busy spinning yarn and creating gifts from their many ideas. Lily and Sherlock are actually Karen and her daughter Sarah. After many years on this journey, they’ve finally turned their long-held dream of sharing their ideas with the world into reality.
