Francis the Fly is always learning new things. Francis new friends Lily the llama and Sherlock the sheep are teaching Franicis about fiber. They love discussing how to make yarn and different ways to use the handspun yarn.
My passion for the fiber arts began a long time ago knitting a sweater. It then evolved into crocheting.
I have always loved spinning and watching people demo spinning. A dream came true when I took a drop spindle class and was instantly hooked. After spending some time with the drop spindle I purchased my wheel and as they say "the rest is history".
Once I started spinning fiber, then next logical step was to start weaving. Why not? The weaving journey has opened many doors from making fabric out of old jeans to creating towels and scarves.
Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” (NIV)
